From: Multiple conserved regulatory domains promote Fezf2 expression in the developing cerebral cortex
A model for the regulation of Fezf2 transcription in the cortex. The 2.7Â kb promoter was sufficient to drive transcription across all endogenous Fezf2 expression domains throughout development of the cerebral cortex. Enhancer 434 exhibited strongest activity in cortical progenitor cells and in contrast enhancer 1316 was strictly active in deep-layer postmitotic neurons.
