Evaluation of cells 1 day following perinatal electroporation. (A-A2) At 1 day post-EP, EGFP+ cells localize to the immediate pial surface. (B-B5) These cells often co-localize with the astroglial marker Nfia, weakly express Gfap, and display glial progenitor morphology. (C-C4) Morphology of EGFP+ cells is typically bipolar (arrowhead) or consists of a multipolar glial morphology (arrow). (D-D4) Bipolar or non-glial cells often express the interneuron marker MafB.
