Control dbd growth cones oriented to the posterior at 33 ± 3.2 h APF (n = 7), soma migration stopped at 36 ± 2 h APF (n = 6), primary dendrite elongated to twice the length of the initial growth cone by 37 ± 4 h APF (n = 4), and the posterior 'pull' indicated dendrite reached the muscle edge at 42 ± 2 h APF (n = 4).
