  1. Measurements were taken, as indicated in Figure 1c,i, to determine the rostrocaudal and lateromedial positions of the posteromedial barrel subfield (PMBSF) in Nestin-Cre;Fgfr3+/K644E(Nes+/E) and its littermate control (Cont) cortices at postnatal day 6.5. Results are presented in the graph in Figure 1d-g (rostrocaudal) and 1j-n (lateromedial positions). SD, standard deviation.
